Trixter is inspired by "trickster", a mythological figure often depicted as cunning and playful, a messenger who bridges the gap between humans and gods, energy and existence, seriousness and fun. As an archetype, the trickster challenges norms, provokes thought, and breaks rules. It is precisely this disruptive nature that allows it to transcend the boundaries between certainty and doubt, old models and new possibilities. That’s exactly what Trixter stands for.

Our team consists of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in technology, digital design, arts, business and innovation. History

2011

The Beginning

Trixter was founded by partners Alvaro Gabriele and André Martins following the successful launch of Atlas Test Brazil, a game developed in collaboration with Francisco Tupy. The company started its operations working on projects for clients in the telecommunications and education sectors, where the first games under the Trixter brand were created.

2012-2014

Growth

With the success of its initial projects, Trixter gained traction and attracted new clients. The company’s commitment to technical excellence and user experience earned industry recognition, strengthening its reputation in the market. As demand grew, Trixter expanded its team and relocated to a larger office in Alphaville, São Paulo.

2015

Indie Studio

The fusion of Raul Tabajara’s artistic vision and creativity from Carranca Studios with Trixter’s expertise in game development led to a powerful partnership for the company’s first indie game: Zumbi Olé. Committed to bringing this project to life, Trixter decided to focus 100% of its efforts on its development, setting an initial nine-month roadmap for execution.

2016

Zumbi Olé

In April 2016, a vertical slice of Zumbi Olé (Zombie Dribble) was launched and quickly won over players. A well-executed marketing campaign, led by Claudio Cavallari, played a key role in the game's success, culminating in a dedicated booth at CCXP that same year. Zumbi Olé captivated both gamers and the specialized media, earning the title of Best Brazilian Indie Game from the renowned gaming site Drops de Jogos.

2017

Game Over?

As the global financial crisis worsened, investment partnerships intended to further develop Zumbi Olé were canceled. Without the necessary funding to sustain operations, and despite ongoing consultancy projects, Trixter was forced to shut down at the end of 2017. Development on Zumbi Olé came to a halt, even though the team remained confident in its potential as a very promising game.

2025

The Comeback

After several years, the team has grown significantly in expertise and market maturity. With more experience and a firm belief in Zumbi Olé’s potential, Alvaro Gabriele, André Martins, and Raul Tabajara decide it’s time to "resurrect the zombie." Trixter is back in the game, returning to the market to develop Zumbi Olé Rising, kicking off production with full force.
