Zumbi Olé

Description

Yara is a young girl who dreams of becoming a great soccer player and competing in the professional league. However, the Zombie Apocalypse arrives, leaving the world in ruins and making her dream seem unattainable. Determined to leave her mark on history, she sets up a camera on top of a building to record her courage and skills for future generations. Her new goal? To be known as the greatest dribbler in the world —not only dodging zombies with her agility but also taking them down in the process. She will keep dribbling and fighting until she is defeated or wipes out every zombie in the city.

History

The development of Zumbi Olé began in June 2015, and after months of work, the first prototype was created on August 13 of the same year. As the project evolved, a special version of the game was showcased at Comic Con Experience (CCXP) São Paulo on December 7, 2015. Over the course of four days, nearly a thousand people had the chance to play Zumbi Olé at the event’s booth, testing the experience just before its official release. The game was well received by a diverse audience, captivating children, teenagers, and adults alike. The first official release was made available on April 18, 2016, followed by the official launch on April 20, 2016. Just five days after hitting the market, Zumbi Olé had already secured a spot among the industry's biggest titles, reaching 10th place in Google Play’s New Free Arcade category, right behind major games like CSZ Global Alliance and Minebot for Minecraft. The game’s final update was released on June 30, 2016, marking the conclusion of its development cycle. Although short, it was an intense and exciting journey that established Zumbi Olé as a standout arcade game among players.
