1. Introduction

Trixter Serviços de Tecnologia e Consultoria Ltda. (“Trixter Interactive,” “Trixter,” “we”) is a Brazilian game studio behind the Zumbi Olé franchise and other titles. We care about player privacy and the protection of personal data of our players and site visitors (“User,” “data subject”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you access our games, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). We are committed to complying with Brazilian data-protection law, especially the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), and to following industry best practices.

2. Principles and Legal Bases

Trixter processes personal data in line with LGPD principles: purpose limitation, adequacy, necessity, free access, data quality, transparency, security, prevention, non-discrimination, and accountability. Processing relies on one or more lawful bases:

Consent: for specific purposes such as newsletters, promotions, and certain analytics or marketing. Under LGPD, consent must be explicit, informed, highlighted, and documented. We always request it clearly and unambiguously.

Contract performance / pre-contractual steps: to enable gameplay, create/manage accounts, provide support, and deliver in-game functionality.

Legal or regulatory obligation: to satisfy statutory, administrative, or judicial requirements.

Legitimate interests: for product development and improvement, anti-fraud and security, and operational analytics—balanced against data-subject rights and freedoms (supported by internal assessments where applicable).

3. Data We Collect

We collect personal data directly from you (forms, account creation, in-game interactions) and automatically during Service use. Typical categories include:

Identification data: name, surname, date of birth, email, username, platform identifiers (e.g., Steam ID, Gamertag, Apple ID, Google ID), and verification documents when required.

Contact data: physical address, phone number, and other contact information you provide.

Usage data: gameplay interactions, playtime, progression, achievements, chat data, gameplay preferences, telemetry, crash logs.

Payments & transactions: details of virtual item purchases, subscriptions, and transaction history. Payment instruments (e.g., card data) are handled by third-party platforms (Steam, App Store, Google Play, Epic Games Store, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store) and are not stored by Trixter.

Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, device identifiers, cookies and similar technologies (SDKs, local storage).

Support data: information you provide to customer support.

Children & teens: processed only with specific, prominent consent from a parent or legal guardian, as required by the Marco Legal dos Games and LGPD.

We use cookies/SDKs and similar technologies to capture technical signals and improve user experience. You can manage these via your browser or device settings (which may impact functionality).

4. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data to:

Provide and operate the Games: enable access, save progress, personalize experiences, process purchases, manage accounts, and deliver support.

Improve Services: analyze performance and usage patterns to build features, enhance gameplay, harden security, and fix defects.

Communications: send game updates, service notifications, newsletters, surveys, and marketing messages (with opt-out controls).

Compliance: respond to lawful requests from authorities, meet regulatory obligations, and protect the rights of data subjects and Trixter.

Fraud prevention & security: verify accounts, prevent hacks/bots/cheats per our Code of Conduct, and safeguard systems and data.

Other legitimate purposes: market research, audits, and the provision of aggregated or anonymized insights.

5. Data Sharing

We may share personal data with:

Technology and service partners (processors): cloud hosting, storage/CDN, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention, and marketing tooling—under contracts that impose confidentiality and security obligations.

Distribution platforms: Steam, App Store, Google Play, Epic Games Store, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store—so downloads, payments, entitlements, and platform features work seamlessly.

Public authorities: where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Trixter, Users, or third parties.

Marketing partners/social networks: only with your consent, to run campaigns, events, or promotional content.

We do not sell personal data. In case of a corporate reorganization, acquisition, or merger, data may be transferred to the successor entity subject to the same data-protection commitments.

6. Data Security

We implement organizational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Examples include:

Encryption of data in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.
Role-based access control with least-privilege principles.
Internal security policies and staff training on data-protection best practices.
Monitoring and auditing to detect anomalous behavior.
Incident response playbooks to handle breaches swiftly and transparently.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to meet legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by data category and context. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it, unless law or competent authority requires further retention.

Under the LGPD, you have the right to:

Access your data and understand how it is processed.
Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
Anonymize, block, or delete unnecessary/excessive data or data processed in breach of law.
Data portability to another service provider, subject to trade/industrial secrets.
Delete data processed based on consent (subject to statutory retention).
Receive information about public or private entities with which we share data.
Revoke consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
Object to processing based on other legal bases where LGPD conditions apply.

9. Children and Adolescents

We apply heightened safeguards to the processing of data of minors. In compliance with LGPD and the Marco Legal dos Games, we only collect and use personal data of Users under 18 with specific, prominent consent from at least one parent or legal guardian. We do not condition a child’s participation on providing more data than is reasonably necessary. We implement proportional risk controls, parent/guardian communication channels, and restrict sensitive features (e.g., in-game purchases) for minors unless parental consent is obtained.

10. International Data Transfers

We may transfer personal data outside Brazil for cloud hosting, processing, or third-party services. We adopt appropriate safeguards to ensure transfers comply with LGPD, including standard contractual clauses and other mechanisms recognized by data-protection authorities.

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, our practices, or our Services. Updates will be posted on our official website and, where material, notified via email or in-game notices.
